About This Database
The Cancer Alternatives Research Database is a comprehensive compilation of scientific research on 203 alternative and complementary cancer approaches. Each topic includes mechanism of action, clinical evidence, safety data, and an AI-generated evidence grade.
What We Cover
- Foods & herbs with published anticancer research
- Supplements including vitamins, minerals, and bioactive compounds
- Therapies from acupuncture to hyperthermia
- Repurposed pharmaceuticals being studied for cancer
- Lifestyle approaches including diet, exercise, and mind-body practices
- Protocols combining multiple approaches
Our Approach
We present published research without advocacy for or against any approach. Every topic is graded by evidence strength using multi-model AI consensus analysis. We include negative findings, safety concerns, and limitations alongside any promising results.
How Evidence Grades Work
Each topic receives a grade from A (strong clinical evidence from randomized controlled trials) to F (insufficient or negative evidence). Grades are generated by multiple large language models independently evaluating the research, then reaching consensus. These grades have not been independently verified by medical professionals.
AI-Assisted Research
This database is curated using artificial intelligence systems for research collection, organization, summarization, and evidence grading. While sources are drawn from published scientific literature, AI-generated summaries may contain errors. Readers are encouraged to verify claims against cited sources.
